Big Mozz launched at Smorgasburg in Brooklyn, NY, where we serve Wood Fired Pizza and Vendy Award-winning Mozz Sticks to thousands of hungry New Yorkers every weekend.  Our dishes are vibrant and seasonal, and we take care to source all of our ingredients sustainably and responsibly.  Central to our menu is our hand-made fresh mozzarella, sourced from local grass-fed dairy farms - that means it's better for you, and better for the happy cows that make it.  Find us at Smorgasburg, music festivals, or book us for your next party!

Jimmy Matt founded Big Mozz after starting The Atlantic Ave. Company, a startup food business specializing in hand-made pasta sauces.  He was a rower at Dartmouth College, and worked in South Sudan before leaving a desk job to start up Atlantic Ave.  Named to Zagat's 30 Under 30 list in 2015.

Jimmy joined the Big Mozz team after graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education and some time well spent at Del Posto in Manhattan. His specialty is in creating new and exciting recipes for our catering offerings, and running the line at our outdoor markets.  Jimmy was also a rower, and played rugby at the University of Florida.
